Joe Lindquist is an award-winning film editor and producer, from Staten Island, New York, and based out of Los Angeles, California.

He is a BFA graduate of SUNY Purchase, with student honors from the National Board of Review, also, Winner: Best Documentary Feature at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival and best editor from the Woodstock Film Festival for the experimental documentary, Bombay Beach. 

 

His work has been showcased all over the world, including the Berlinale in Germany.

Recently his work in advertising and marketing has won him a Clio Award, for his work on the Call of Duty Campaign for Activision.

​

As a frequent collaborator of Paramount Pictures, Universal, AntFarm, Industry Creative and Buddha Jones, he's also edited and produced the award winning film, deepsouth, with filmmakers and journalists of Columbia University: Lisa Biagiotti and Duy Linh Tu.

​

His work also includes music by Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones & Led Zeppelin. He's worked with Zach Condon of Beirut and cut music videos for Sigur Ros.

​

Past collaborators include director Joe Kosinski (Tron, Oblivion, Top Gun 2), actor Shia LaBeouf, director Alma Har'el and writer-director Boaz Yakin (Remember the Titans, Now You See Me).
